Master Spas Announces New Member of Executive Team

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — August 11, 2021

Master Spas, the world's largest swim spa manufacturer, announced an addition to its executive team. Julie Hess has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources.

Hess has been with Master Spas for eight years, most recently as Human Resources Director.

"Her hard work, talent, and dedication to excellence at Master Spas has helped us to manage our growth and achieve our goals," says Terry Valmassoi, president of Master Spas. "With her leadership in developing an outstanding Human Resources team, Master Spas has become an employer of choice in our community.

Since May 2020, Master Spas has grown its team from about 600 employees to 1,200. The company also plans to hire 100 more employees in the next several months. The new hires will fill the company's current operating lines, as well as a second shift in its Rotomold factory. A planned expansion of the swim spa factory, expected in early 2022, will add 160 employees.

Hess joins a team that includes Bob Lauter, CEO; Terry Valmassoi, president; Sam Badiac, executive vice president; Kevin Richards, vice president of sales and marketing; Nathan Coelho, vice president of engineering; and Mike Rees, vice president of manufacturing.
